Cosmetic and Restorative Dentist, DDS 2004
Dr Amir graduated with the highest academic achievement in 2004 and worked for many years as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Kings College London where he passed on his first-hand clinical dentistry to his students especially in the field of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry , Endodontics and Prosthodontics. He has a great deal of experience in Smile Transformation and Full Mouth Reconstruction using composite bondings and ceramic veneers and crowns fabricated over natural teeth and dental implants with the help of digital smile design and CAD/CAM machines and with no preparation or minimal preparation of the natural teeth to increase the longevity of any treatment by conserving teeth structures. He also trained in the field of Dental Implants and Oral and maxillofacial Surgery in some of the UK leading Education and healthcare providers in North West London Hospitals such as the historic Northwick Park Hospital. In addition, Dr Amir is an expert clinician for Invisalign treatment, TMJ and severe tooth wear problems and occlusal reorganisation and has treated many severe complex cases in this field with excellent outcome. He has run many courses for other dentists and has appeared in some of the BBC health series as a Dental Expert and Speaker. Amir was selected as one of the few best dentist finalists in Dentistry Awards 2016 in the UK. His Friendly personality and gentle approach makes every patient even the most nervous ones feel at ease and has made him extremely popular between patients. Mr Amini has extensive experience of working in the UK and Sweden. He qualified in dentistry at the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, before coming to the UK for medical and surgical studies. Alongside private practice, Mr Amini’s time as a surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has seen him treat a range of oral and facial conditions. Care for his patients is always his first concern. Whether treating minor conditions, or extensive facial trauma, Mr Amini believes in listening to his patients, understanding how they feel. The support he offers is focused on individual needs. This includes a range of oral care, from conditions such as mouth ulcers, or cysts, to salivary gland treatment. Patients seeking treatment for jaw conditions, or fractures are equally welcome.
Mr Amini’s skills are valuable for more complex facial reconstruction, from skin surgery, to rebuilding and remodelling damaged areas tailored to treat historic trauma, or symptoms of a more recent accident. Reconstructive, or wider treatment can naturally include dental requirements from dental implants, to removing complex buried roots, impacted teeth, or providing solutions for wisdom tooth issues.
